Error code 00979 is stored in the memory. First, we recommend that personnel exercise caution when working on high-voltage components and follow all safety guidelines. If all voltage and ground connections are correct, we suspect that the fault is due to a failure of the ignition unit.  <\/p><p><strong>2.  <\/strong> Before each repair, first check that the power supply is disconnected. Install a new headlight ignition unit on the headlight assembly (Figure 2.1).
