This defect affects several Subaru models with engine codes FB16 \/ FB20 \/ FB20 DIT \/ FB25 \/ FB25A. <\/p><p><strong>2.<\/strong> Check the actuator plug. If you find traces of oil, clean it or replace it if necessary. Also, check the first digits of the actuator (CMP) production number (see picture). If the first five digits are lower than 17158, replace the actuator with a modified one. Verify the correction by test driving.
