The problem occurs when the customer releases the parking brake, but it does not disengage. The cause is corrosion due to water intrusion into the parking brake caliper lever. <\/p><p><strong>2.  <\/strong> Remove the parking brake cables from both levers and check measurement &#8220;A&#8221; on both rear calipers (Figure 1). If the distance on both sides is less than 3 mm, the lever kit needs to be replaced.
