The technician replaced the seal on the high-pressure line at the compressor connection, as it appeared to be the source of refrigerant leakage. After several months, the issue recurred. The cause is damage to the high-pressure line. Engine movement creates a hairline crack in the high-pressure line that is difficult to detect visually.  <br><br><strong>2.  <\/strong> Carefully inspect the high-pressure line where it connects to the compressor. If you find a crack, replace the high-pressure line and recharge the system with the correct amount of refrigerant.
