By statistical data of slovenian police there has been 551 stolen vehicles in year 2017. Even if the trend of vehicle theft has decreased a bit in comparisson with previous years, it's still worrying to see that among all stolen vehicles there is almost 35% of motorcycles.
According to the National Council, only 35% of lost animals are returned back home. As explained in the slovenian pet portal Kuzek.si, this is not to blame on bad education, but in most cases this comes from animal instincts. An article on the portal also explains that some dog breeds are more prone to wander than others, even outside the season such as mating.
Whatever the reason, finding a lost pet is in any case very stressful and, in most cases, or without a pre-installed tracking device, it also does not yield results.
