Front noise while driving
The customer reports a disturbing noise coming from the front of their Ford S-Max, 2014 model. The noise resembles a grinding sound. During the road test, the noise was confirmed, but the cause could not be identified in the workshop.
1. This issue affects multiple Ford models. It occurs due to a worn driveshaft support bearing.
2. Install a new driveshaft support bearing (figure 1). Restore the bearing housing and nuts. Verify the repair with a test drive.
