FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long does the entire process take?
The entire process usually takes about 10 days. The duration depends on several factors, such as the time of receipt of signed vehicle documentation, the need to pay off leasing, accessibility of the vehicle location, etc. We strive to complete the process in the shortest possible time.
Do I, as a buyer, have any costs in the process?
Do I have to pay off the leasing myself?
Can I sign the documentation digitally?
Which documents are mandatory in the process?
It depends on whether the vehicle owner is a natural or legal person, as well as whether leasing will also be paid off in the process.
For natural persons, we prepare and send via email:
Purchase contract
Power of attorney for ownership transfer (in case of leasing, notarization and signing of two powers of attorney are required)
Handover record
For legal entities, we prepare and send via email:
Power of attorney for ownership transfer (in case of leasing, signing of two powers of attorney is required)
Handover record
Vehicle conformity declaration
Legal entities also issue an invoice for the vehicle.
In addition to the mentioned documents, it is mandatory to include:
At least 1 vehicle key
Original deregistered vehicle registration certificate
Certificate of conformity (homologation)
Do legal entities charge VAT for damaged vehicles on the invoice?
The display of VAT on the invoice depends on several factors. VAT on the issued invoice can be shown by legal entities who had the right to deduct input VAT at the time of vehicle purchase and simultaneously meet one of the following conditions when selling the vehicle:
– sale of a damaged vehicle that is not older than 6 months or has driven less than 6,000 km
– it is a commercial vehicle (category N, cargo vehicle, vehicle for transporting goods, passengers, or for rental)
In other cases, legal entities do not show VAT on the invoice when selling a damaged used vehicle, but include the clause on the invoice: Exempt transaction based on Article 44 of the VAT Act/Point 3.
Can we deliver the vehicle documentation to you in person?
What happens in case of missing documentation?
