TOP 3 REPORTS FOR FLEET MANAGEMENT

Geotab presented the most important reports for field fleet management as chosen by users:

1. Trip History Report
One of the most valuable MyGeotab reports is the Trip History report. It allows users to track vehicles that are not moving as expected or are simply not productive.

A trip/activity history report can answer many questions about vehicle productivity, such as:

  • Do my vehicles start running when scheduled?
  • How long does it take for vehicles to reach their final location?
  • How long does it take for vehicles to reach their final location?
  • How many kilometers do my vehicles travel each day?
  • Is the mileage higher or lower than expected?
  • Was there any speeding during the stops?

It is a report that presents an analytical overview of daily activities and can also be combined with other areas – for an even better or broader overview.

2. Safe Driving Indicators
The Safety Record allows you to assess driving behavior based on certain rules, such as speeding, sudden braking, and seat belt use. Managers can use six predefined criteria or define custom rules.

The report also contains a final calculation and combines the measurements into an overall safety score/driver or vehicle and risk breakdown.

3. Vehicle Idle Costs
The report provides an easy way to calculate the cost of vehicles when they are idle. This allows fleet managers to break down the costs of each vehicle when idle and develop appropriate action plans to reduce idle time and increase productivity.
