Removing and installing a thermostat can take anywhere from 12 minutes to nine hours, depending on the vehicle model. At Autodata, repair times are tailored to each vehicle and are based directly on the manufacturers’ specifications, allowing you to use an official estimate of the time required for the job.

To view the official repair times provided by the manufacturer, select the vehicle and then select the component. The official repair time can also be adjusted according to the age and condition of the vehicle in your workshop. This can be adjusted in the “Settings” section, where you can set the percentage of the official repair time to be taken into account (0 for the time recommended by the manufacturer and 100 for twice the specified time). By clicking the “Save” button, the repair time will be updated.
