An analysis of vehicle servicing by Autodata experts shows that the spring months are considered the busiest months for repair shops. Car repairers can expect more vehicles in the workshops in the coming months that have been idle in the recent period or have had their technical inspection deadlines extended as a result of working from home.

- Service and repair of air conditioning systems, as vehicles parked for long periods of time in particular attract moisture, which affects the condition of the seals. - Check and replace the battery, as cold weather and vehicle immobilisation can lead to poor battery performance. For vehicles that have been idle for most of the winter, early battery replacement is recommended. - Inspect and replace wiper blades that have cracked during the colder months. It is recommended to replace wiper blades at least once a year or when the blades no longer make contact with the windshield surface.
- Checking tire pressure, as improper tire pressure increases tire wear and can also cause damage to the internal structure. When inspecting, make sure your customers’ tires are secure and their geometry is correct.
