Here you will find descriptions of some of the most common faults on BMW & MINI vehicles.
Each case includes a description of the problem and a possible solution, along with images for easier repair, and is available in Slovenian.
On the MINI Countryman vehicle, model year 2011, with a 1.6 gasoline engine, a disturbing noise occurs during air conditioning operation. The technician has checked the coolant level adequacy and whether all hoses are properly secured, but has not found the source of the noise.
The problem occurs when diagnosing an electrical fault on the Mini One 1.6 model, model year 2005. Occasionally, the warning lights for ABS, ASR, and handbrake turn on, while the tachometer and speedometer indicators shake. The fuses have been checked.
On the BMW X1 vehicle, model year 2011, a whistling noise from the area of both exterior mirrors occurs between 60-80 km/h.
The noise was confirmed during road testing, but the technician cannot find the cause in the workshop.
On the BMW X3 2.0 vehicle, model year 2011, the technician reports difficulties in diagnosing the source of fuel odor in the passenger cabin. The technician can detect fuel odor in the passenger compartment, so all fuel line connections have been visually inspected, but no fuel leakage is visible. What could be the cause?
A BMW Z4 2.0 gasoline, model year 2011, was brought to the workshop. Engine oil is leaking from the front part of the cover (cylinder head). The cylinder head cover gasket was replaced during the last service, but the stain still appears in the same location.
What could therefore be causing the oil leak?
