Engine Power Loss
The Citroën C-Elysée 1.6 diesel vehicle engine lacks power. The engine warning light is illuminated. Multiple error codes are stored. Some are related to the turbocharger. Due to the high cost of labor, detailed diagnostics are required.

Solution

1. The fault occurs in vehicles with 1.6 Diesel engine designation 9HP (DV6DTED4). This is a fault with the turbocharger exhaust regulation valve – Figure 1. It needs to be repaired or replaced. Exercise caution when adjusting the control rod. Clear the stored error codes. Verify the repair with a test drive.
