Non-functioning windshield washer nozzle
The customer brought their vehicle to the service center due to a non-functioning windshield washer nozzle. The nozzle is not adjustable, so it was completely replaced, but the same problem still occurs.
1. This type of error usually occurs in Ford S-Max models due to incorrectly positioned windshield washer nozzles.
2. Remove the part between the windshield and the hood to allow access to the central nozzle. Simply unclip it—do not completely remove it from its original mounting position. Cut the foam pad into 10mm strips. Place the strips between the back of the windshield washer nozzle and the body part where the nozzle is attached (Figure 1).
Re-clip the nozzle and the part where it is attached. Verify the correction by testing.
