Noise during driving from the rear of the vehicle
The customer reports noise occurring during driving from the rear of the vehicle. During road testing, the noise was detected, but in the workshop the technician cannot find the cause of the problem.
1.This is a known defect in the Mokka-X model with engine code LE2 (B14XFT) where the noise is caused by the rear exhaust silencer.
2. Remove the rear exhaust silencer. Make six spot welds on the upper side of the silencer as shown in Figure 1. After installing the modified part, confirm the defect has been resolved with a test drive.
