The customer had difficulty diagnosing rattling or noise in a Peugeot 207, model year 2009. The rattling occurs during acceleration. The noise is heard in the front left area of the vehicle. The technician checked the steering wheel, suspension and drivetrain, but could not find the source of the noise in the specified area of the vehicle.
A Peugeot 2008 with a 1.2 gasoline engine developed an oil leak in the transmission area. The rear oil seal of the shift lever shaft was replaced, but the vehicle returned with the same problem after a few months.
A customer with a 2013 Peugeot RCZ complains of lack of power, difficult engine starting and an illuminated engine warning light (MIL). The computer displays errors related to the variable valve timing system.
The technician has a Peugeot 3008, model year 2012, in the workshop with multiple warnings displayed. The computer shows errors with codes P16B1 and P16B2 – the technician has no data on these codes.
A problem occurs when diagnosing certain faults on a Peugeot 5008, model year 2011 with automatic transmission. Occasionally a starter fault occurs, and the engine stalls when selecting reverse gear. Several error codes related to transmission solenoids are displayed (P0972, P0975).
Upon ignition, a warning light appears indicating an engine fault. Two different error codes were stored in the system (P0405 and P1461). These relate to the exhaust gas recirculation system, so we examined it closely, but no blockages were visible.
