Multiple warning lights are on
The technician has a Peugeot 3008, model year 2012, in the workshop where multiple warnings are displayed. The computer shows error codes P16B1 and P16B2 – the technician has no data about these codes.
1. The cause is due to water ingress into the cooling fan drive and connector cable, which causes corrosion.
2. Remove the front bumper and remove the cooling fan drive (see figure 1.1). Check the operation of the cooling assembly (see figure 1.2). If necessary, repair/replace components and check for corrosion in the cooling fan drive and wiring harness. If necessary, repair/replace the component, then attach the cooling fan actuator. Reinstall the front bumper, then clear the trouble codes and perform a road test.
